Komprex (Speedcore with Grindcore/Death Metal influences)

Since the beginning of 1998, Komprex aka Fabio Di Benedetto is present in the extreme music scene as a producer. Based in La Spezia, a small city on the italian west coast, he started listen to electronic hard music when he was just a child: in 1993 he bought his first cd "Techno Shock" and start to become a distorted sound addicted boy. But be just a listener it's not good so he tried to produce something during the years with his old Amiga and then in '98 with his first PC and a basic program: Modplug Tracker. Favourite style was high bpm speedcore and after few months he was member of a lot of worldwide "trackergroups". His style become better track after track and a lot of people liked it. Since 2001 he played in a lot of parties to diffuse the Italian Speedcore message. His principal label is the italian Cerebral Destruction, but he released also two autoproducted CD then on USN, Underground For Ever, Special Forces, Speedcore Records and Masters of Speedcore. Today Komprex is one of the most appreciated speedcore artist. Aphex Twin played his track Worldwide Shit in several 30000people parties since 2003. In a period when the speedcore scene is composed by too much low quality productions, the italian way makes the difference. Since 2004 he left Modplug and started using the pro tracker Renoise and he recenlty switched to Mac OS X and its well know software Logic Pro. He's also in group with Speedkore, as singer and producer, making also a remix of the track "Caught in the Crossfire" of The Berzerker. The style of the band is cybergrindcore and they played like a metal band in parties such as Hellraiser vs. Megarave, Ik Ben Je Bitch Niet and Ground Zero Festival. In 2009 he released also on Psychic Genocide and Noistorm with some new industrial tracks and he's releasing another project with Noisekick on Masters Of Speedcore with brutal and also some industrial metal tunes. The Komprex's virus has been spreaded in the best parties in Europe and Russia and is growing more and more.
